James F. Williamson, FAIA, whom Brian worked with on the St. George's and St Edwards Chapel projects, posed the following question to three professionals: " Where are the emerging religious symbols of our new age, symbols that we can live by today, that express our current understanding of humanity’s place in the cosmos and our moral responsibility for the preservation of life on planet earth? What new forms and images will artists and architects devise to endow the sacred places of the future with meaning? Will these new symbols compete with traditional symbols and ancient archetypes, or can they somehow be integrated?"
